Alfred Marston Tozzer (1877–1954) was an American anthropologist, archaeologist, linguist, and educator who dedicated his career to the study of Mesoamerica.
Tozzer's primary area of scholarly focus was Maya studies. Through his academic and field-based endeavors, he contributed to the documentation and understanding of Maya culture, language, and history.
