Edmund Venables (1819–1895) was an English clergyman and antiquarian who lived and worked during the Victorian era. Born in Queenhithe, London, Venables pursued a career within the church while dedicating significant effort to the study of antiquities and ecclesiastical history.\n\nThroughout his life, Venables combined his clerical duties with historical scholarship. He eventually relocated to Lincoln, where he continued his antiquarian pursuits until his death in 1895.
