Michel Jean Pierre Verne was a French novelist and editor active during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. As the son of the celebrated writer Jules Verne, he operated within a rich literary tradition, eventually pursuing his own career in writing and publishing.

He is best known for his adventure novels, which captured the imaginative spirit of his era. Among his most notable published works are The Lighthouse at the End of the World, released in 1905, followed by The Golden Volcano in 1906, and The Thompson Travel Agency in 1907. In addition to his own writing, Verne worked as an editor, contributing to the literary landscape of France before his death in 1925.
