Marshall Thomas Wilton Eady was an Australian engineer born in Summer Hill, Sydney, in 1882. Following the death of his father in 1892, Eady relocated with his family to Melbourne, where they were supported by his uncle, Sir William McPherson.
Eady began his professional life as an engineering apprentice at Austral Otis. He later joined his uncle's firm, McPherson's Pty Ltd, where he worked for the remainder of his career until his death in Melbourne in 1947.
