Albert Edward Mackay Rowland was a competitive athlete from New Zealand who specialized in walking events during the early twentieth century. Born in October 1885, Rowland achieved recognition on the international sporting stage when he was selected to represent Australasia.

His most notable athletic achievement came at the 1908 Summer Olympics in London, where he competed in two walking events. Rowland passed away in July 1918.
