John H. Weeks

John H. Weeks was an American soldier who served during the American Civil War. Born in Hampton, Connecticut, on March 15, 1845, Weeks went on to serve as a private in the 152nd New York Infantry. His military service is most notably marked by his actions during the Battle of Spotsylvania Court House in Virginia on May 12, 1864. For his conduct during this battle, Weeks was awarded the Medal of Honor on December 1, 1864. Following his life and military service, Weeks passed away on March 10, 1911. He is interred in the Hartwick Seminary Cemetery in New York.
