Douglas James Wilson (born 1953) is an American conservative Reformed and evangelical Christian theologian, pastor, and author. Based in Moscow, Idaho, where he ministers at Christ Church, Wilson has established himself as a prominent and highly controversial figure within contemporary American evangelicalism. Through his pastoral work and extensive writings, he has taken on leading roles in both the Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches and the modern classical Christian education movement.

Wilson's written work and public teaching focus heavily on themes of postmillennialism, Christian nationalism, covenant theology, and biblical patriarchy. He advocates for a comprehensive Christian worldview that influences education, family structure, and civic life. His advocacy for classical Christian education has helped shape the curriculum and philosophy of numerous faith-based schooling initiatives across the United States.

Beyond his theological treatises, Wilson is known for his provocative cultural commentary and controversial historical stances. He first attracted widespread national media coverage in 2004 after hosting a conference that publicized his highly controversial views on Southern history and American slavery. A self-described "paleo-Confederate," Wilson continues to write and speak on the intersection of theology, culture, and politics, remaining a polarizing yet influential voice in conservative Reformed circles.
