Robert J. Wicks is an American clinical psychologist, author, and educator who has spent over thirty years exploring the intersection of spirituality and psychology. As a therapist, speaker, and spiritual guide, Wicks has integrated these fields to offer guidance on resilience, self-care, and spiritual well-being. Throughout his academic career, he has taught students in professional schools of psychology, medicine, nursing, theology, and social work. He is currently a Professor Emeritus at Loyola University Maryland.

In addition to his academic and clinical work, Wicks has received significant recognition for his contributions to the community and the Catholic Church. He was awarded the Holy Cross Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice, which is the highest medal the Papacy can present to the laity for distinguished service.

Wicks is also a sought-after speaker who has delivered commencement addresses at several notable institutions. In 2003, he spoke at the Wright State School of Medicine, and in 2005, he served as both a Visiting Scholar and commencement speaker at the Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago. He was also the commencement speaker at Caldwell College in New Jersey, where he was presented with an honorary doctorate.
