Jabez Wight Giddings was an American lawyer, journalist, and politician active during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Throughout his career, Giddings engaged in legal practice and newspaper work alongside his involvement in public service.

As a member of the Republican Party, Giddings achieved significant political office in the state of Michigan. He served as the Lieutenant Governor of Michigan, working under Governor John Treadway Rich. His life and career concluded with his passing in 1933.
