Rounsevelle Wildman was an American journalist, editor, and diplomat active during the late nineteenth century. Born in Batavia, New York, in 1864, he built a career that bridged public service and literary journalism.

Wildman is best known for his role as the owner and editor-in-chief of the Overland Monthly, a notable literary magazine. He managed and directed the publication from 1894 to 1897. Alongside his editorial work, Wildman served his country as a member of the United States Foreign Service. His life and career came to an end with his death in February 1901.
