George Fred Williams was an American politician and diplomat who represented the state of Massachusetts in the United States House of Representatives. Born in 1852, Williams transitioned from his legislative duties in Congress to international diplomacy.

During his career in foreign service, Williams was appointed as the envoy extraordinary and minister plenipotentiary to both Greece and Montenegro. He served in these diplomatic capacities before passing away in 1932.
