Robert Folkestone Williams (1809–1870) was an English author, academic, and journalist active during the nineteenth century. Over the course of his career, Williams worked across a wide variety of literary and scholarly forms, establishing himself as a novelist, poet, biographer, and historian.
In addition to his books and poetry, Williams was active in the periodical press of his era, working as both a journalist and a magazine editor. He also engaged in academia, serving as a professor.
