Thyra Samter Winslow (1886–1961) was an American novelist, short story writer, and film story writer who became a prolific voice in twentieth-century American literature. Over the course of her active career, she wrote and published more than two hundred short stories, securing a prominent place in the landscape of American magazine fiction.
Winslow's work was regularly featured in some of the most prestigious and influential literary periodicals of her day.
