John T. Wolfe Jr. is an American higher education consultant and retired academic administrator. Throughout his career in higher education leadership, he served in key executive roles at historically black institutions in the United States, guiding them through periods of transition in the late twentieth century.

Wolfe served as the president of Kentucky State University from 1990 to 1991. Following this tenure, he assumed the presidency of Savannah State College, leading the institution from 1993 until 1997. After concluding his service as a university president, he transitioned into working as a consultant within the higher education sector.
